The Happy Newspaper

Back in the September of 2015, 22 year old Emily Coxhead launched a kickstarter for The Happy Newspaper. Seven years later the successful paper has just released its 27th issue, the second one which we have had the pleasure to stock. 

What Is The Happy Newspaper?

A quarterly publication celebrating joyous news from across the globe, across 36 pages The Happy Newspaper shares stories big and small as well as fun facts and stories of everyday heroes nominated by their readers, reminding us all of the power that everyday kindness and positivity holds. 

Is it illustrated? 

Yes! The Happy Newspaper features full colour illustrations from both guest and staff illustrators. Most stories have an accompanying illustration or coloured background. 

Is The Happy Newspaper suitable for children? 

The happy newspaper is suitable for readers of all ages! We believe it is a fantastic way to start discussions and to encourage children to be more aware of the world around them whether they read it alone or together with you. Each copy is stitched and trimmed which makes it easier for the young and elderly to handle as it doesn’t fall apart. 

What does it report on? 

Each issue focuses on a different theme such as 'progress' and reports world news, runs features, poems, recipes and more. There is even a showbiz section! 

Is it eco-friendly? 

Each copy of The Happy Newspaper is printed on recycled blend stock from FSC forests.

There are no advertisements in The Happy Newspaper.
