Fireflies Dance is a wonderfully calming and satisfying creative kit that teaches children the ancient art of paper weaving through the making of two beautiful lanterns. Using natural bamboo sticks, children weave the paper lanterns following the instructions printed on the lanterns themselves - and once woven, the finished lanterns can be placed on the pretty water lily boards provided for a warm, magical atmosphere, day or night, thanks to the included LED candles.
Paper weaving develops accuracy, concentration and patience. LED candles include a 30-minute timer to save battery power. Step-by-step instructions are included. Illustrated by Seng Soun Ratanavanh, made with sustainably sourced materials.
